The Equipment Operator is an onsite, full-time position in Silverthorne, CO. The hiring range is $28.13–$31.37 per hour; the full pay range is $28.13–$37.50 per hour. The position supports the Town of Silverthorne Public Works Department under the general direction of the Streets Manager. The operator assists with daily public works operations by maintaining rights-of-way, supporting street and drainage work, and providing traffic control for construction and maintenance activities. The role also helps maintain equipment and assists engineering, planning, recreation, police, and residents with issues as they arise.

What you'll do

• Perform right-of-way maintenance including snowplowing, street construction, drainage maintenance, sign and delineator maintenance, street sweeping, and trash pickup
• wash, grease, and check fluids on equipment
• provide traffic control for construction and maintenance
• assist engineering, planning, recreation, police, and citizens with issues.
