What you'll do

• Assess patients and respiratory therapy needs
• collaborate with the care team
• verify orders and administer aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, oxygen, and medical gas therapy
• manage ventilators and airways
• perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• educate patients and mentor or precept employees, students, and peers
• support patient safety and performance improvement.
