Junior Cyber Operations Planner

Job overview

The Junior Cyber Operations Planner role is onsite in the Fort Meade, MD area, with compensation of $75,000–$105,000 per year. Athenix Solutions Group provides on-site planning support to USCYBERCOM J3, the Cyber National Mission Force, and Joint Task Force-Ares. The role exists to support Department of Defense joint planning for cyberspace operations. It contributes by developing and coordinating plans, integrating cyber capabilities and intelligence planning, and helping align operational execution and resource decisions with organizational objectives.

What you'll do

• Support approved cyberspace operations plan development and staffing
• support targeting selection, validation, synchronization, and integration
• draft and staff OPLANs, OPORDs, and FRAGOs
• support Joint Operational Planning Groups and Teams
• develop concepts of support and courses of action
• coordinate and document plans
• support crisis action teams and current operations
• review cyber plans and guidance for integration and alignment with objectives
• assess cyber capabilities and tools
• maintain deliberate and crisis plans
• transition planning to current operations
• integrate intelligence planning timelines
• interpret relevant laws, regulations, policies, and guidance
• communicate complex information in written, verbal, and visual formats.

Why this role

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required. Requires qualifying recent cyber operations planning or offensive cyberspace capabilities experience, with specified experience waivers; associate degree or higher in a relevant field, or ability to complete within one year of hire.
