What you'll do

• Assist nurses and nurse practitioners with basic medical-office functions
• triage patients
• check vital signs and perform venipuncture
• prepare patients for consultations
• provide general clinical assistance
• staff the reception desk, screen calls, make referrals, verify insurance, schedule appointments and follow-ups
• assist with nursing care as assigned
• protect health information and follow HIPAA requirements.
