Machine Operator

Job overview

The Machine Operator role is onsite in Mentor, OH, with rotating four-day schedules of 6 a.m.–6:30 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6:30 a.m.; weekend work is part of the rotation. Training pay is $18 per hour, increasing to $20 per hour after successful training completion and assessment. Princeton Precision Group supports manufacturing critical hardware for defense programs, space missions, and global travel. The operator loads and machines metal castings on CNC machinery, checks dimensions and part features, and follows work instructions and safety procedures. The role contributes to producing quality parts by identifying out-of-tolerance items and following the required tagging process.

What you'll do

• Learn to identify and operate CNC machinery
• load metal castings into fixtures, verify setup, and enter the appropriate program. Machine and inspect parts, record dimensional measurements, determine whether readings are within tolerance, tag non-conforming parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
