What you'll do

• Escort patients to exam and procedure rooms
• collect and process urine specimens
• record vital signs, height, weight, and medical history
• reconcile medications in the electronic medical record
• communicate room status and patient handoffs to providers
• assist with minor procedures
• clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms
• answer phones and greet patients
• maintain records and inventory
• administer medications under provider supervision
• prepare equipment for sterilization
• comply with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
• travel between offices for cross-coverage.
