Job overview

The Youth Development Professional, Health & Wellness role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL, generally Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 7 PM, with occasional longer hours and weekends when necessary. The stated rate is $15 per hour. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida supports youth development and positive club experiences. The professional plans and supervises health and life skills programs for youth ages 6 to 18, promoting safety, well-being, and personal development. Program participation, student data, and activity reporting help the club deliver and evaluate youth programming.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement health and life skills programs
• recruit and retain youth participants
• supervise members and provide guidance and role modeling
• track and report student data
• maintain a safe, clean program area and equipment
• prepare weekly reports and daily schedules
• participate in staff meetings and local, state, regional, and national programs.
