Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Guilford, CT, with compensation of $24–$35 per hour. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 10-hour shifts, with a flexible start time. The technician supports production objectives through the maintenance function at Brook & Whittle. The role maintains and repairs production equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. It helps sustain equipment operation and reduce downtime by diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, maintaining supplies, and communicating maintenance needs.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production machinery, printing presses, die-cutting and inspection equipment, motors, and pneumatic systems
• diagnose problems using measuring and testing instruments
• dismantle and repair equipment
• adjust functional parts and controls
• fabricate repair parts
• maintain equipment and supply inventories
• document maintenance work
• follow safety procedures
• meet the stated requirement for at least two years of appropriate experience and prior print-industry experience.

Why this role
