Production Associate

Job overview

The Production Associate role is onsite in Stuarts Draft, VA. Compensation is $23 per hour, with a $1 per hour differential for night shift. The role supports Cornerstone Building Brands’ manufacturing of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings. The associate inspects and packages extruded products, identifies defects and production issues, and supports line operations and product changes. The work helps maintain product quality, packaging accuracy, and safe, continuous production.

What you'll do

• Visually inspect extruded products for appearance and size defects
• conduct recurring functional tests and inspections
• notify appropriate personnel of defects
• assemble, pack, seal, and label cartons
• transfer cartons to finished-product skids
• identify production line issues and assist as needed
• support color and product fixture changes and line shutdown tasks
• communicate product quality and work status across shifts
• complete packaging paperwork
• maintain workstation supplies
• assist with equipment maintenance and training as assigned
• follow plant safety practices.
