Working under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, Team Physician(s), and other qualified medical personnel, the assistant helps prevent, evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate sports injuries. The position also supports medical records, team coverage, athletic training students, and sports medicine administration.

What you'll do

• Provide injury prevention, on-site evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation as directed
• consult with team physicians and report injury status as directed
• maintain medical records
• attend practices and competitions as necessary
• travel with teams as directed
• assist with athletic training facility supplies and upkeep, NCAA drug testing, and student supervision.
