Mortgage Processing Assistant

The Mortgage Processing Assistant role is onsite in Ramsey, NJ. Pay is $45,000–$60,000 per year. The assistant supports processors and loan officers by organizing mortgage files, collecting borrower documentation, tracking outstanding items, and communicating routine updates. The role helps keep traditional and reverse mortgage transactions complete and moving through the loan process while protecting confidential information.

What you'll do

• Set up loan files and organize borrower documents
• request and collect supporting documentation
• review files for basic completeness and identify missing items
• upload and maintain documents
• assist with routine loan documents and disclosures
• communicate with borrowers by phone and email
• track third-party items, checklists, and deadlines
• support traditional and reverse mortgage files, including HECM transactions
• maintain confidentiality.
