Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician role is onsite in Glendale, CA. The stated base pay range is $17–$22 per hour. The role supports Parexel’s Early Phase Clinical Unit, which conducts early-phase and first-in-human trials that contribute to the development of new medicines. The role exists to process study samples and perform diagnostic laboratory testing accurately under study protocols. It supports clinical trial operations by preparing laboratory resources, maintaining supplies, identifying study-related issues, and coordinating sample shipments.

What you'll do

• After training, collect as appropriate, process, and store human biological specimens according to protocol
• perform standard diagnostic tests such as pregnancy tests, urinalysis, and drugs-of-abuse tests
• prepare laboratory equipment, facilities, documentation, and study schedules
• identify and escalate study-related issues
• assist with consumables inventory
• and assist the Shipping & Logistics Coordinator with sample transportation and shipment.
