Water & Wastewater Operator Trainee

The Water & Wastewater Operator Trainee role is an onsite position located in Groveland, FL. Compensation is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour. This role supports the Woodard & Curran team in maintaining water and wastewater treatment systems. The role exists to learn the treatment process and work towards obtaining a state license. The trainee shadows certified operators, manages work orders, monitors system flows, and performs lab tests to ensure the plant operates efficiently and remains in full compliance with environmental regulations.

What you'll do

• Perform duties necessary to support the Water, Wastewater and Maintenance departments
• Assists with monitoring and adjusting system flows, treatment process conditions, and storage levels
• Assists with maintaining and cleaning plant and plant equipment
• Attends training classes, takes tests, and participates in on-the-job-training activities.
