What you'll do

• Organize front desk activities
• check patients in and out
• collect and post payments
• enter demographic, financial, and insurance information
• explain sliding-fee documentation
• schedule appointments
• answer and route calls
• balance the cash drawer when applicable
• complete end-of-day tasks
• maintain the waiting room
• enter information into electronic medical and dental records
• verify insurance
• protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• assist with medical records as requested.
