The Dietary Cook role is onsite in Fitchburg, MA. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. Sweetwater Care’s food service work supports nutrition care in a long-term care setting. The cook prepares and serves meals that meet menu, nutrition, safety, and service requirements. The role helps maintain consistent food quality and regulatory compliance through safe preparation, accurate temperature records, and kitchen sanitation.

What you'll do

• Prepare meal items according to planned menus and standardized recipes
• review resident census and production information to determine food quantities
• follow safe food-handling rules and regulations
• assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as assigned
• prepare modified-consistency and special-diet foods
• monitor and record food temperatures
• maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
• meet meal schedules.
