Route Driver – Utility

Job overview

The Route Driver – Utility role is onsite in Durham, NC, with pay of $22.50–$25.00 per hour. Canteen provides workplace food, coffee, snack, and unattended retail services. The driver covers established routes and supports delivery, product sales, machine servicing, and customer needs. The work helps keep customer locations supplied and vending and retail equipment operating while maintaining accurate cash and product records.

What you'll do

• Drive a company truck on established routes to deliver products or provide services
• stock vending machines and collect unsold merchandise and money
• record transactions and account for cash and product
• respond to customer service needs and complaints
• select and load warehouse items
• perform routine machine maintenance and sanitation
• set up promotional displays
• maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Why this role

Previous route driving experience and a valid driver’s license are required. Schedule is Monday through Friday with a 5:00 a.m. start and rotating Saturdays.
