What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to a small engineering team
- assign and prioritize work
- design and support custom industrial process equipment and mechanical systems using 3D CAD
- perform mechanical engineering calculations
- review models, drawings, and bills of materials for accuracy and manufacturability
- support new designs, modifications, rebuilds, replacement parts, and reverse-engineering
- work with manufacturing teams to resolve issues
- provide engineering support during fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, vendors, and customers as needed
- support accurate, timely project and drawing-package completion and continuous improvement.
