What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
• prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia and recovery
• administer medications, injections, and fluid therapy
• collect samples and perform in-house diagnostic tests
• take digital radiographs
• restrain patients safely
• admit and discharge patients and provide home-care instructions
• educate clients
• prepare treatment estimates
• maintain instruments and clinical areas
• monitor supplies
• maintain medical records.
