Cold Header Operator Trainee is an onsite, full-time role in Madison Heights, MI, with training scheduled for 5:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday–Thursday and Friday or Saturday as needed; after training, the schedule is 3:15 p.m.–1:15 a.m. Monday–Thursday and Friday or Saturday as needed. Pay is $20 per hour. MNP is a family-owned fastener manufacturer established in 1970 and offers training and development. The trainee learns to qualify as a Cold Header or Thread Roller Operator through classroom activities, hands-on training, and mentoring. The role supports production by learning equipment setup and operation, part inspection, safety, and production documentation.

What you'll do

• Participate in the training program and maintain attendance
• learn to use tools and measurement tools, set up and operate equipment, read blueprints and job specifications, inspect parts for surface discontinuities, weld wire, and complete 5S housekeeping
• follow safety procedures and complete production paperwork.
