Evening Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Evening Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Sioux Falls, SD. Pay is $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience. Design Tanks makes custom composite reinforced-plastic tank solutions for businesses. The technician helps keep machinery operating and limits production downtime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment inspections. The role also supports safe operations by maintaining equipment and supplies, communicating maintenance needs, and preparing reports.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machinery
• identify problems using testing instruments
• adjust equipment parts with tools
• observe equipment for irregularities
• dismantle devices and replace defective parts
• inspect used parts with measuring instruments
• inform production workers of maintenance needs
• fabricate repair parts
• monitor equipment and supply inventories and place orders
• prepare maintenance information and reports
• follow safety procedures and regulations.
