Accounts Payable Specialist

The specialist processes vendor invoices and payments, maintains accurate vendor records, resolves payment issues, and supports month-end and year-end accounting work so bills are handled accurately and on time.

What you'll do

• Set up vendors and maintain complete records
• review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and approval
• enter invoices and process purchase orders
• voucher approved invoices in the ERP system
• run biweekly check and ACH payments and monitor discounts
• prepare vendor aging and pending-invoice reports
• assist with 1099 preparation and accounting close activities
• research and resolve discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• follow accounting procedures and internal controls.
