What you'll do

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations and procedures
• record vital signs
• perform procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and Holter monitoring
• assist physicians with procedures, medications, and patient education
• handle phone nursing including triage, pre-certifications, referrals, and prescriptions as appropriate
• contact patients about test results
• schedule appointments if needed
• maintain stocked, neat, and clean exam rooms and common areas.
