HVAC Service Technician

Job overview

The HVAC Service Technician role is onsite in Springfield, MO. Pay is $16–$27 per hour. The Wooten Company supports more than 4,400 apartment homes and over 500,000 square feet of commercial properties, with continued growth through new construction. The technician performs diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on residential and light-commercial HVAC equipment. The work supports reliable service for residents and commercial customers, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a rotating on-call schedule.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, gas furnaces, window units, and light-commercial rooftop units. Requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and EPA Type II or universal certification
• HVAC certification is preferred, and electrical, plumbing, or maintenance experience is a plus. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with rotating on-call
• overtime may be required during emergencies, peak workloads, or business needs.
