Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is full-time and onsite in Plymouth, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule, typically 5:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.; shift hours may change. Starting pay is $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience. The role supports Placon’s production operations by maintaining equipment and helping keep the plant running. The technician performs preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment. The role diagnoses and repairs systems, supports control-system integration and machinery improvements, and works with the maintenance team to complete scheduled work orders safely.

What you'll do

• Perform electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical maintenance
• diagnose and repair production and auxiliary equipment
• integrate electrical control systems for machinery and process improvements
• participate in specifying, building, rebuilding, installing, and fabricating electronic control systems
• assist with preventive maintenance programs
• ensure machinery and facilities comply with applicable safety codes
• collaborate with the Maintenance Lead and team on work orders and machine improvements.
