The Facilities & Campus Safety Coordinator role is onsite in Orlando, FL, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule and occasional evenings or weekends for school events or emergencies. The coordinator maintains school facilities and grounds while helping provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, families, and visitors. The role contributes to daily school operations through maintenance, campus monitoring, access procedures, and emergency preparedness support.

What you'll do

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• inspect campus for maintenance and safety concerns
• complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance within skill level
• set up and take down spaces for school events
• maintain grounds
• coordinate outside vendors
• maintain logs and supply inventory
• support safety compliance
• secure buildings, monitor entrances, verify visitor procedures, conduct patrols, report hazards and emergencies, assist with drills and evacuations, monitor security equipment, and help supervise arrival and dismissal traffic.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid Florida driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic building-maintenance knowledge, and successful Level 2 Florida Background Screening. CPR/AED and First Aid certification are preferred or may be obtained.
