The Commercial Door Installation Service Technician role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX, with pay of $21–$29 per hour. The position supports Vortex Doors’ commercial and industrial door repair services. The technician installs, repairs, and maintains commercial doors and related hardware so they operate safely and reliably. The work includes diagnosing issues, documenting service, and communicating repair options to customers; training is provided, and applicants with no prior door experience may be considered.

What you'll do

• Install and repair commercial doors
• diagnose door-related issues involving springs, hinges, locks and electrical components
• install and configure locks, handles, closers and access control systems
• ensure work meets safety and building code requirements
• respond to customer inquiries and explain repair options
• document service visits, repairs and installations
• perform quality checks.

Why this role

Applicants with door experience and entry-level applicants with no experience are considered. Training is provided. Full-time shifts are available during business hours of 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and on-call hours.
