UEFI/BIOS Firmware Engineer

The UEFI/BIOS Firmware Engineer role is onsite in Austin, TX, for a 12-month contract. Compensation is $60–$75 per hour. The engineer will join a Datacenter Firmware team developing next-generation server platform BIOS solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, integrate, and implement firmware for x86 server platforms
• build BIOS solutions based on silicon and hardware platform features using C and x86 Assembly
• debug, validate, and triage issues throughout the product lifecycle
• collaborate with silicon design, platform engineering, and validation teams
• contribute to firmware architecture and design reviews
• communicate risks and progress
• and support process improvement.
