Plant Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

The Plant Electromechanical Maintenance Technician role is onsite in North Bergen, NJ. Pay is $18–$22 per hour. Hudson Bread Company is an artisan bakery and distributor serving the Tri-State area, and this role helps keep production equipment dependable and operating efficiently. The technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs on bakery and production equipment, troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues, and works with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• troubleshoot motors, relays, sensors, and control panels
• assist with PLC-related problems
• perform emergency and unscheduled repairs
• read manuals, schematics, and work orders
• maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant work area
• coordinate repairs with production
• manage parts inventory and maintenance records
• support small improvement projects.
