Audio-Visual Installation Technician

Job overview

The Audio-Visual Installation Technician role is onsite in La Mesa, CA, and pays $32–$42 per hour. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., plus a rotating on-call service rotation. The technician works in person at Sound Automation. The technician installs and configures low-voltage cabling, audio-video equipment, racks, and basic networking systems. The work supports Sound Automation’s installation and service projects through equipment setup, troubleshooting, and basic programming.

What you'll do

• Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
• mount devices
• build and lace equipment racks
• complete one-room audio/video installations and setup
• install and set up basic networking and data systems
• troubleshoot simple systems
• perform basic programming for Lutron Home, Control4, and Josh.ai.
