What you'll do

• Review and interpret drug orders and provide or supervise medication dispensing
• advise physicians, nurses, hospital personnel, patients, and families on drug information
• prepare or supervise IV, chemotherapy, and other compounded medications using aseptic technique
• monitor drug therapies for appropriateness, adverse effects, and interactions
• perform quality assurance, drug-use evaluation, therapy monitoring, and assigned floor-stock duties
• guide and supervise pharmacy technicians
• support inventory, staff training, and pharmacy quality assurance.

Why this role
