The Emergency Veterinary Assistant role is onsite in Pikesville, MD, with pay of $18.50–$44 per hour. What you'll do

• Provide basic to intermediate nursing care, patient monitoring, and treatments
• help triage incoming patients
• administer medications and support intravenous fluid and blood transfusion therapy
• contribute to outpatient and inpatient care and patient rounds
• collect samples and perform diagnostic tests
• assist with sedation and surgical anesthesia under LVT or DVM supervision
• perform listed nursing care tasks
• maintain and troubleshoot oxygen equipment. Additional advanced tasks may be performed where permitted by law.
