The Toddler Lead Teacher works onsite at the Balboa Early Learning Campus in Spokane, WA. Compensation is $20.50–$25.86 per hour. Lilac City Early Learning Center is opening a new campus through a partnership with Spokane Public Schools and the City of Spokane, serving toddlers in small classrooms. The teacher creates a nurturing learning environment and supports children’s development through curriculum, assessment, and family communication. The lead also supervises assistant teachers and aides and helps establish the new campus’s classroom practices and school culture.

What you'll do

• Create a nurturing classroom
• plan and implement curriculum
• support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• complete developmental assessments
• conduct family conferences and communicate with families daily
• supervise assistant teachers and aides
• maintain classroom documentation
• meet licensing requirements
