What you'll do

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• assist the dentist during examinations and treatment using four-handed techniques
• take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations
• perform coronal polishing, sealants, fluoride treatments, and other duties permitted by state law
• sterilize instruments
• maintain infection control
• update patient charts
• educate patients
• monitor comfort
• maintain supplies
• support scheduling and patient communication.
