Childcare Teacher

The Childcare Teacher role is onsite in Racine, WI, with pay of $15–$20 per hour. The Child Development Center serves children from birth through age 14 with individualized, play-based care and connects families with community resources. Teachers and aides support children’s development, safety, and care while communicating with families and contributing to the center’s daily operations.

What you'll do

• Conduct observations, portfolios, and assessments
• communicate with children’s parents
• meet students’ health and safety needs
• provide one-on-one care for children with special needs when assigned as an aide
• and, for closing staff, secure the building and turn off lights and air conditioning. The posting lists aide and lead-teacher schedules.
