Certified Nursing Assistant — Skilled Nursing Facility is an onsite, full-time role in Hettinger, ND, paying $25 per hour before shift differentials. Western Horizons Care Center provides personalized care to residents in a homelike environment. The CNA assists nursing staff with residents’ daily care, comfort, safety, and well-being under the direction of licensed nurses. The role supports residents’ activities of daily living and contributes observations to care planning and nursing follow-up.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• follow assignments from licensed nurses
• respond to resident call buzzers
• transfer and position residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics
• measure and record vital signs, height, weight, intake, and output as directed
• collect specimens
• observe and report changes
• maintain resident privacy and dignity
• follow infection-control procedures
• assist with care plans and orientation of new nursing assistants.
