Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Piedmont, SC, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour. PCC Medical Holdings’ Physician Care Centers operate primary care clinics focused on family medicine and the Medicare population, with a goal of helping patients live healthy and enjoyable lives.

What you'll do

• Escort patients to exam rooms, gather visit information and vital signs, verify medications and allergies, prepare patients for examinations, and assist providers.
• Collect specimens, perform phlebotomy, administer medications and injections as directed, provide wound care, administer EKGs and nebulizer treatments, follow up on diagnostics and results, maintain patient records, and manage supplies and exam-room readiness.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of clinical experience, Medical Assistant certification or higher, and CPR/First Aid certification. High school diploma or equivalent required; knowledge of HEDIS is listed.
