Field Test Technician

The Field Test Technician role is onsite at The Toro Company’s golf course test location in Rancho Mirage, CA. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:30 a.m.–2 p.m. Compensation is approximately $26–$33 per hour, depending on experience. The role supports field testing of Toro products and prototypes. The technician operates and evaluates equipment, gathers performance data, and reports findings to the field test supervisor and test engineers. The work helps assess product safety, performance, and durability under field and laboratory conditions.

What you'll do

• Operate and evaluate prototype and production units under established or newly developed safety, durability, and performance standards
• gather data using computer-controlled data acquisition systems
• maintain project logs and prepare summaries
• perform maintenance and teardown inspections of test units
• assist with test-fixture design and construction
• maintain test-site vehicles and equipment
• provide feedback on facility needs
• some travel to local test sites may be required.

Why this role
