Client Services Assistant (MHAP)

The Client Services Assistant (MHAP) role is onsite in Rochester, NY, with pay of $20–$20.50 per hour. East House is a nonprofit supporting people in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders through housing, counseling, peer support, and community outreach. The assistant helps maintain safe, healthy housing and supports clients’ independent living and service-plan goals. Coordinating inspections, apartment turnovers, furnishings, and client-related documentation helps programs provide timely, compliant housing support.

What you'll do

• Conduct routine apartment inspections, including fire safety and move-in or move-out inspections
• report issues to a supervisor
• coordinate apartment cleaning and turnover
• assist clients with move-in, setup, transition, or move-out tasks
• help maintain furniture and necessities inventory
• collaborate with program staff on property processes
• support client service-plan goals
• document client activities and attend community meetings.
