Assistant Childcare Teacher

The Assistant Childcare Teacher role is onsite in Ellenwood, GA, with pay of $13–$15 per hour. The assistant helps the Lead Teacher maintain a safe, nurturing classroom and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s development. The role also contributes to developmental documentation, family communication, and compliance with program health, safety, and licensing guidelines.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom care
• maintain a safe, clean, engaging environment aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards
• support age-appropriate curriculum activities
• observe and document developmental milestones
• communicate with families
• follow health, safety, sanitation, licensing, and program guidelines
• participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required training.
