As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Psychologist will provide direct care, including individual (including youth), couple, family, and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, discharge planning, and psychological testing/evaluations.

What you'll do

• Participates in direct care to assess needs and coordinate services.
• Provides initial mental health assessments.
• Provides brief, solution-focused therapy.
• Provides group psychoeducation/treatment.
• Provides psychological/neuropsychological testing.
• Participates in care coordination.
• Maintains scheduled appointments in electronic records systems.
• Provides therapeutic services to patients and their families.
• Works in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.
• Completes required documentation.
• Participates in high-risk program.
• Demonstrates cultural competency.
• Participates in supervising psychology trainees.

What we're looking for

Education

Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)

Experience

Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D). Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut. Ability to diagnose using DSM 5. Experience providing direct clinical care.
