The Accountant — General Ledger, 12-Month Project is a hybrid role based in Kirkland, WA, with a 12-month engagement and possible extension. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports the General Ledger group at a manufacturing company through SumBridge. The accountant handles core accounting work that supports accurate close processes and financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed-asset tracking, inventory reporting, and audit documentation.

What you'll do

• Prepare and post month-end and year-end close journal entries
• perform general ledger, bank, and grouped multi-account reconciliations
• support capital account setup and fixed-asset tracking
• assist with asset capitalization, construction-in-progress projects, physical inventory counts, and asset disposals
• support inventory reconciliations and reporting
• provide audit documentation.
