What you'll do

• Build relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• participate in project kick-off meetings
• obtain product and service pricing, availability, and delivery information
• maintain organized purchasing records
• follow documented purchasing processes
• issue and manage purchase orders
• partner with Accounts Payable on vendor setup and invoice issues
• ensure cost and accounting-code accuracy
• request quotes and negotiate prices
• support permit acquisition
• suggest cost savings
• communicate with stakeholders
• follow safety practices
• provide onsite assistance to project teams
• may coordinate others on specific assignments.
