Master's-Level Behavioral Health Professional (Correctional Health)

The Master's-Level Behavioral Health Professional (Correctional Health) role is full-time and onsite at Racine County Jail in Racine, WI. Pay is $37–$38 per hour. VitalCore Health Strategies provides correctional health care, and this role supports the jail's Behavioral Health Unit as part of a multidisciplinary team. The clinician provides assessment and treatment to the patient population, helping the team respond to behavioral health needs through ongoing care, crisis support, and coordination with medical and community providers.

What you'll do

• Administer assessments, make clinical decisions, and provide mental health treatment
• co-lead group, individual, and crisis therapy
• provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and ongoing evaluations, and consult with in-house and community services
• conduct risk assessments and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, medical staff, community providers, psychiatric hospitals, and corrections
• assist with discharge planning and program goals
• document records and reports
• use brief clinical interventions including CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
