Construction Project Manager

Constellation Energy in Washington, DC is looking for a Construction Project Manager. This is an onsite, full-time position with an expected salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, plus a bonus program and 401(k) with company match. The role requires an on-site presence at project sites 100% of the work week and the ability to work varied shifts, including second shift and weekends. The Construction Project Manager oversees and coordinates all daily site activities of large-scale, energy efficiency-focused commercial construction projects, ensuring completion safely, with high quality, on-time, and on/under budget.

What you'll do

• Plans, directs and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
• Develops and reviews project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers
• Maintain & monitor safe working conditions
• Prepares project related documentation
• Oversees project implementation to assure cost, time, quality and execution guidelines are achieved
• Prepares daily reports, logs all issues related to the work, and submits them to project leadership
• Conducts high-level quality control inspections
• Enforces cleanliness of the job site
• Coordinates site logistics.

Bachelor's degree

Experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction project management, or architecture or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; OSHA 10-hour card or ability to obtain it upon hire; Must be willing to travel and provide on-site support for projects across the US; Must be able to work second-shift for extended periods of time and weekends as needed; Must be able to work full-time on construction project site; Must have independent means of transportation to the project jobsite; Must have and maintain a valid driver's license; Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English; Demonstrated ability to work independently; Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products; Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position; Possession of a Federal Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
