The Operations Technology Intern — Municipal Water role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with an in-office presence required for all hours worked. Pay is $22 per hour. The intern contributes to real projects involving operational technology for water and wastewater infrastructure, working with experienced engineers and consultants. The role supports project delivery through technical tasks, documentation, research, and collaboration while building practical experience in automation and critical infrastructure systems.

What you'll do

• Assist with PLC programming and SCADA configuration
• support troubleshooting, commissioning, upgrades, and operational testing
• help develop control strategies, SOPs, and technical memorandums
• support SCADA master planning and existing-condition assessments
• collaborate with engineers, programmers, and project managers
• conduct technical research
• assist with electrical, instrumentation, controls, risk, resilience, and cybersecurity work as assigned.
