The Personal Community and Employment Professional role is an onsite, full-time position in La Plata, MD, with hours of 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Compensation is $20.84 per hour. Spring Dell Center provides individualized support to people receiving services throughout the community. The role helps individuals pursue personal goals, build relationships, increase independence, and participate in community life. It contributes through person-centered support, assistance with daily activities, community engagement, and accurate progress documentation.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one support in community, employment, and program settings
• assist with daily living and personal care as needed
• support health-related needs according to agency policies and training
• encourage independence
• support community activities, volunteering, and employment experiences
• provide transportation for outings and appointments as assigned
• implement individualized plans
• document progress
• collaborate with families and support professionals
• participate in meetings and training.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, a full non-provisional driver’s license, a clean driving record with two years of driving experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Must be able to complete Med Tech Certification.
