What you'll do

• Prioritize patient and staff calls
• determine appropriate action for calls not handled by patient intake
• coordinate with doctors and execute plans such as appointments or prescription drops
• document activity in patient records
• return triage mailbox calls
• provide patient information and directions
• monitor task baskets and process pharmacy requests
• follow up on outside lab work
• manage doctor-to-doctor and doctor-to-patient calls
• monitor schedules and rescheduling
• maintain sample drug logs in compliance with Ohio State Pharmacy Board requirements.
