What you'll do

• Route incoming and outgoing calls through the switchboard
• provide clerical assistance such as typing and photocopying
• maintain the daily in-and-out log
• greet and assist patients and visitors
• preserve patient confidentiality
• prepare outgoing mail and take mail to the post office
• assist official guests with visitor sign-in
• report incidents or problems affecting switchboard operations or the lobby environment
• assist with logs, sign-in sheets, registrations, faxes, information calls, and crisis calls
• open and close the front office, lobby, and parking gate
• keep the lobby clean and maintain brochure racks.
