Transportation Driver

The Transportation Driver role is an onsite, full-time position in Detroit, MI. Pay is $17.50 per hour. Central City Health provides integrated healthcare, housing, and substance-use services to under-housed and at-risk people in metro Detroit. The driver transports patients to community organizations, treatment providers, judicial hearings, and other destinations identified by the treatment team. The role supports access to care while maintaining passenger safety, vehicle readiness, accurate records, and patient confidentiality.

What you'll do

• Transport patients according to assigned rosters and routes
• assist clients entering and exiting vehicles
• complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel and mileage records, and route logs
• report accidents and relevant patient concerns
• support preventive maintenance of facilities and fleet vehicles.
