The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) – Perioperative Services role is onsite in Templeton, CA. Pay is $84–$87 per hour. The RNFA works under the direction of the primary operating surgeon and reports to the Director of Perioperative Services. The role provides professional nursing care and assists during surgical procedures, while coordinating patient care and supporting the healthcare team. It contributes to safe perioperative care through assessment, intraoperative assistance, documentation, patient education, and adherence to facility standards.

What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate care
• assist the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care
• perform RNFA intraoperative functions including suturing, ligating, hemostasis, exposure, positioning, prepping, and draping
• document care
• follow infection-control guidelines
• administer and chart medications
• recognize and report abnormal findings and emergencies
• support patient education and staff development.
